  1. I have been a docent for three years and find it changes my life being in nature with children each spring and fall, watching the seasons change plants and wildlife. The training experience is contagious, learning profound, exciting and fun. Other docents become lasting friends as we share similar interests. The class teachers are biologists, naturalists, experienced professors who know how and what to teach. There are no exams per se, and the material so fascinating it makes us all want to go back to school.
Please give it a chance, join us; sign up for our upcoming fall class at Martin Griffin Preserve on Bolinas Lagoon.
